This map shows Cardistry jams around the globe: Check out the 52+2 Meet-Up Map

Jam-focused cardistry collective Cinquantaduepiudue (52+2), founded by Luca Lanciotto (@luca.tto) in 2024, has a mission to “foster a global community through connection, creativity, and collaboration.” Their website recently launched a map where organizers can easily enter their jams, and participants can let others know they’ll be attending. It’s very user-friendly; by simply entering a date, location, and your tag, you can mark your upcoming jam and send out what is essentially an open invitation, but within a targeted audience.

Although the tool is still in its early stages, with proper feedback and contributions from the community, it has the potential to become the go-to resource for finding jams around the world. The more people use the map, the better it will work for everyone, and it’s clear this was a much-needed addition to the scene.

52+2 is proving that the cardistry ecosystem isn’t only made up of companies focused on designing and producing playing cards, which we genuinely appreciate and love, but that there are other types of innovation happening as well: an encouraging sign that the community is continuing to mature. This is a promising initiative that could significantly contribute to the culture and the evolution of our community, especially if it continues to introduce more tools and innovative projects like this map. As the global cardistry community expands, more resources like this will be essential for facilitating collaboration and helping cardists connect.

They are clearly determined to grow beyond Italy and establish themselves as a globally recognized name. We’ll be looking forward to more news and exciting developments from 52+2 in the future.
